- Emergic Venture Capital Private Limited
-- the venture firm behind the new age innovative Indian
companies such as Netcore, Novatium, Midas, Rajshri Media,
Mobifusion and Yos.
- Ventureast Tenet -- the venture firm
behind innovative Indian companies as Midas and lattice
bridge. Raised a new fund to primarily invest in companies
which would build technologies and solutions addressing
the large, unaddressed needs of the Bottom of the Pyramid/Digital
Divide segment. The Fund has received commitments from
investors such as Google Inc., Technology Development
Board (the leading soft funding agency for technology
businesses in India ) and SIDBI.
- RTBI (Rural Technology Business Innovation)
– RTBI is a registered society established under
the aegis of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras
and functions under the Chairmanship of Prof. Ashok Jhunjhunwala,
Dept. of Electrical Engineering, IIT Madras. RTBI's mission
is to design, pilot and incubate business ventures with
a specifically rural focus. Its vision is to facilitate
/rural-inclusive/ technology and business development
in the rural space. Currently, RTBI is engaged in the
following incubation sectors: Agriculture, Financial Inclusion,
Vocational Training, Health, Education and Affordable
Technological solutions appropriate to rural needs.
